The history of NITTO KOGYO began with a switch. Since then, the Company has continually developed numerous epoch-making products for circuit protection, which formed a solid foundation for producing safe electric products. We will reach a significant turning point in the next few years that will revolutionize people's value. The company will not only continue to delve into fields related to reducing our burden on the environment, beginning with renewable energy, but also challenge brand new fields according to the demands of the successive new generations. NITTO KOGYO will continuously strive to bring about solutions for supporting comfortable living.
2010
Model changed for EV/PHEV charging stands.
The model was changed for the EV/PHEV charging stands. We developed the first model with a communication function in Japan, and began to provide a management-support service.
Manufacturing and sales of the "AH Series" high load capacity enclosures for data centers.
Began to manufacture and sell the "AH Series" high load capacity enclosures, which are suitable for data centers. The heavy load capacity of this series is made possible by the hollowed frame made from different metals and the hybrid seismic resistant structure.
2011
"NITTO KOGYO (Jiaxing) Electric Corporation" is renamed to "NITTO KOGYO (CHINA) CORPORATION".
Integrated "NITTO KOGYO CORPORATION Beijing Office" into "NITTO KOGYO (CHINA) CORPORATION".
2013
Began manufacturing and sales of general charger for EV/PHEV.
Obtained 100% of SunTelephone Co.,Ltd.'s shares.
Obtained 100% of NANKAIDENSETSU CO.,LTD.'s shares.
2014
Obtained 100% of Taiyo Electric Mfg. Co., Ltd.'s shares.
Obtained 100% of AICHI ELECTRIC WORKS CO., LTD.'s shares.
Nakatsugawa Plant and NITTO KOGYO Cubicle was certified for the "Eco Rail Mark".
Received a Green Logistics Excellent Business Special Award for the modal shift at Nakatsugawa Plant.
2015
Established a local corporation in Thailand "NITTO KOGYO TRADING (THAILAND) CO.,LTD."
(Now "NITTO KOGYO BM (THAILAND) CO., LTD.")
Obtained 100% of Gathergates Group Pte Ltd.'s shares.
The home panel board with power monitoring support received the Minister of the Environment Award.

Established Wind/Rain/Earthquake Resistance Test Facility at Kikugawa Plant.
Established weather test facilities capable of simulating storms and triaxial seismic test facilities capable of reproducing waveforms of large-scale earthquakes.
A demonstration test of the high function seismic circuit breaker (earthquake / lightning IoT) won the Japan Resilience Award 2017 Merit Award.
The breaker with seismic function received the JECA Chairman Award.

Started project with Kakegawa city (Shizuoka Prefecture), for demonstrating local disaster prevention system, using IoT (Internet of Things).
Nagoya Plant was certified for the "Eco Rail Mark".

Merged CADTEC Co., Ltd. and NITTO STAFF CORPORATION.

Obtained 100% of KITAGAWA INDUSTRIES CO., LTD.'s shares.
