The history of NITTO KOGYO began with a switch. Since then, the Company has continually developed numerous epoch-making products for circuit protection, which formed a solid foundation for producing safe electric products. We will reach a significant turning point in the next few years that will revolutionize people's value. The company will not only continue to delve into fields related to reducing our burden on the environment, beginning with renewable energy, but also challenge brand new fields according to the demands of the successive new generations. 2001
All the plants acquired ISO14001 certification.
Acquired the certification for the international standard ISO14001 environmental management system at all production bases, including the headquarters and technical main office.
Manufacturing and sales of "FS Series" frame structure steel system racks.
For the communication equipment enclosure market, the company began to manufacture and sell the "FS Series" frame enclosures that boast an exclusive and innovative cooling mechanism, an earthquake-resistant mechanism, and high rigidity.
Acquired UL certification.
First Japanese manufacturer to receive UL certification (US standard) and TÜV certification (European standard) for enclosures storing control panels and communication equipment.
2002
Established NITTO KOGYO CORPORATION Shanghai Office in China.
Manufacturing and sales of "FS Series / seismic resistant type" high earthquake-resistant system racks.
Began to manufacture and sell "FS Series / seismic resistant type" high earthquake-resistant system racks, which passed the NEBS standard (ZONE 4) seismic test in the US.
2003
The high-breaking small high-performance breaker received the JECA Chairman Honorable Mention Award.
Highly rated for the industry's smallest size, high performance, and excellent workability and convenience at the Electrical Construction Industry Exhibition (now JECA FAIR) product competition.
2004
Established a local corporation in China- "NITTO KOGYO (Jiaxing) Electric Corporation" (Now "NITTO KOGYO (CHINA) CORPORATION")
The plug-in branch power panel received the Kansai Electric Security Association Chairman Award.
Highly rated for space-saving properties, high rigidity, ease of capacity change, and safety at the Electrical Construction Industry Exhibition (now JECA FAIR) product competition.
2005
The slim and agreement type plug-in mounted panel boards received the JECA Chairman Honorable Mention Award.

Established TOHOKU NITTO KOGYO CORPORATION (Now the Hanamaki Plant).

Made Aichi Electric Works Co.,Ltd a consolidated subsidiary.

Established Kakegawa Plant.

Kikugawa Laboratory acquired international standard ISO/IEC17025 laboratory authorization in JAB.
Established a local corporation in Thailand "ELETTO (THAILAND) CO., LTD".
NITTO KOGYO (Jiaxing) Electric Corporation established Shanghai Office in China.
2009
The compact high efficiency electronic cooler received the JECA Chairman Honorable Mention Award.
