Information Security Basic Policy

In order to promote the use of information and to respond to the trust we receive from the society, NITTO KOGYO recognizes the importance of all information assets including customer information, and formulates policies and implements information security measures as described below.
This will further improve corporate ethics based on legal compliance and secure safety and reliability in the information society.

1. Our company complies with information security laws and other regulations.

2. Our company appoints a chief information security management officer and provides information management officers in each department.

3. Our company takes appropriate human resource, organizational, and technical measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, tampering, loss, destruction, obstruction of use and the like of information assets, and conducts safe and proper management.

4. Our company regularly conducts education and dissemination activities on information security for all information system users.

5. Our company conducts periodic audits based on the Information Security Management Regulations and makes efforts to continuously improve and maintain them.

6. In the unlikely event of information security issues, our company will quickly investigate the cause and prevent the spread of damage.

Web Services Operating Policy

Our company implements a variety of measures to ensure that our customers can use our Web services (company website, product information site, etc.) safely and securely.

Our Information Systems Department promotes the management and utilization of ICT under the leadership of the director in charge of information systems. And, the Information Systems Department not only ensures information security, but also works on digital transformation in collaboration with each business division responsible for promoting business strategies, aiming to achieve the Medium-term Management Plan formulated to realize our vision.

Simultaneously, our company has established a system where the progress of initiatives is reported and considered at the IT Strategy Promotion Council organized by the directors.

Furthermore, in order to safely and appropriately manage and operate confidential information within the company, we are implementing information security measures including the formulation of a basic policy on information security and the establishment of the Information Security Management Committee.
